Service Description

Samhain (pronounced “sow-en”) is a Celtic Gaelic celebration of the final harvest. It is the last of three pagan harvest festivals, beginning with Lammas (August 1), peaking with Mabon on the Autumnal Equinox, and concluding on October 31 to usher in the “dark half of the year”. Samhain is said to be a time when barriers between the physical world and the spirit world break down, allowing more interaction between humans and denizens of the Otherworld. Spend this sacred Samhain: -- Honoring the deceased by building an ancestry altar. Bring photos, momentos, or belongings of loved ones who have passed on to place on the temporary altar and connect with those spirits in an ancestor meditation. -- Practicing grounding breathwork and visualization to let go of old patterns, feelings, and doubts. -- Seeking the wisdom of tarot to cross the threshold between seasons and worlds.
