The Power of Breath Series
Service Description
Join Abby and Trevor for a three-part series exploring the transformative power of breathwork and traditional yogic purification practices known as Kriyas. This series offers a progressive introduction to techniques designed to cleanse, energize, and balance the body and mind. Each Sunday builds upon the last, supporting a safe and intentional exploration of these time-honored tools for well-being. Sunday, January 25 - "How Conscious Breath Transforms the Subconscious" An introduction to the yogic concept of Pranayama, our breath's ability to shift depending on how we’re feeling, and how we can use that to our advantage. Sunday, February 8 - "Building Breath & Energy Capacity" An exploration of how breath manipulation and techniques can increase our capacity in the lungs and for our energy as a whole. (Attending Part 1 of this series is beneficial, but not required, to attend Part 2.) Sunday, February 22 - "Managing Emotions with Movement & Breath" An investigation of pranayama beyond breathwork -- cultivating, balancing, and managing emotions and through mudras, drishtis, and full body movement. The peak of this practice will bring forth emotional sound (via breath!) and a primal group scream. (Attending Parts 1 and 2 of this series is beneficial, but not required, to attend Part 3.)
